Clogs

Boots

I've been looking at these lately and wondering how practical they would be for everyday wear.
Anyone? They certainly look sturdy enough.

Go for the brown ones. As for comfort...no idea. They might be comfortable enough on the feet but wreak havoc on the knees because of the rigidity.

Good point. Possibly great for cycling, but for general walking about, it could get a bit rough. Still, I see folks in clogs all the time (though they don't look like these) and they don't seem to complain. The brown ones look great, but I also have a soft spot for the Balmoral clogs at the top of the post. Will certainly share my experience if i do decide to invest.

Wooden heels are the best. I had on my clogs today that I bought like 20 years ago. I think that's practical. And they make a nice noise when one walks.

Wish my kids were still young enough for me to choose their shoes. Those kids clogs are dang CUTE !

I have a pair of Walkley bar clogs which I like very much. I wear them with thick socks and find them comfortable.

They do keep one on the path of righteousness, however, as they are very loud; anybody can hear you coming a half block away.

The Clogmaster in Portland, Ore do some terrific, all-wood clogs. I know they're popular in professional kitchens, and those people do a lot of walking during the day.
